Germany: Courses Offered
Advanced Level I

GRMN 321,322,323: Advanced Reading I (2, 2, 2 qh)
Students take this course on the basis of a contract with their teacher. Graded works of literature and presentation of a reading report are basic requirements. Regular consultations with the lecturer are possible.

GRMN 341,342,343: Advanced Grammar I (2, 2, 2 qh)
This course is designed as an intensive study of German grammar combined with exercises. Students will get acquainted with a mixture of relevant topics.

GRMN 347,348,349: Advanced Phonetics (1, 1, 1 qh)
In the advanced level, the contents of the course result from a careful analysis of a perfect pronunciation combined with exercises to contrastive thetoric.

GRMN 471,472: Preparation for Test DAF (2, 2 qh)
Required for the TestDaF examination preparation with the focus on written, listening and oral exercises.

GRMN315,316,317: Advanced Comprehensive German I (4,4,4 qh)
For students with previous experience with the German language. Emphasis is on grammar, writing, listening and reading comprehension.

GRMN357,358: Germany and its Culture (2,2 sh)
Lectures, readings and excursions on German culture, its sociology, arts and literature, with the special emphasis on the social development after 1989.

GRMN373,374: Preparation for Goethe-Zertifikat B1 (2, 2 qh)
Required for the preparation for the examination TestDaf with the focus on written, listening and oral exercises.

GRMN415,416,417: Advanced Comprehensive Grammar II (4, 4, 4 qh)
For students who completed GRMN315,316,or 317. Emphasis is on grammar writing, listening and reading comprehension.

GRMN441,442,443: Advanced Grammar II (2, 2, 2 qh)
This course is designed as an intensive study of German grammar combined with exercises. For students who completed GRMN 341 or 342.
